What is the MS CURE FUND?
It is a national nonprofit organization based in Boston, MA dedicated to help create awareness, educate, and raise funds for MS research to help find a CURE. It was founded in 2005 by a MS patient in an effort to :
  1. Create awareness about the disease and help newly diagnosed understand and manage its debilitating symptoms
  2. Conduct educational programs & seminars along with peer user groups for support & advice
  3. Raise much needed research funds that go directly to the scientists and clinicians studying MS.

MS CURE FUND PUTS A FACE TO MS

It all started in the summer of 2004 with an idea to give back to those MS patients that are less fortunate than I. Since then, MS Cure Fund is all about us patients... it is run & managed all by MS patients (Founder & Board Members), professionally advised (attorneys & accounting firm), Steering Committee & Volunteers, and continues to strengthen with all the positive, active, functioning patients that have moved out of DENIAL into ACCEPTANCE and continue long, healthy, fulfilling, successful, productive lives living with Multiple Sclerosis. We are the FACES of MS (Strength) and give HOPE to those that have just been diagnosed.

In our efforts, we are trying to create awareness about Multiple Sclerosis through educational seminars, peer programs and events along with raising much needed FUNDS directly for RESEARCH. Our funds provide researchers and scientists the ability to study the disease and learn more about determining its causes.

Currently, proceeds benefit Dr. Howard Weiner's research at the Partners MS Center and the Center for Neurologic Diseases at Brigham and Women's Hospital , Boston, Massachusetts.
