Self Help Groups
Support groups allow individuals living with MS to come together to discuss what is important to them. Support groups explore a variety of topics to allow for in-depth discussions and communication with those who know what you are going through. These support systems are great for understanding your own MS by connecting with others who share similar experiences.
A National MS Society affiliated support group for people living with MS, their families, friends and caregivers. Besides sharing the realities of living with MS, we share good times, laughter and information in a positive, upbeat environment. Everyone comes full of ideas to take home and perhaps try out. Join a monthly meeting for education, information and good company! Does NOT meet in July & August
In even months, the group will meet the first Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be provided. During even months, attendees must RSVP.
Providence MS Center is starting a support group for people with MS and their family members. A topic will be chosen to discuss each month and there will be free time to offer support and socialize. The group is free of charge.
