The Mission of Community Boating, Inc. is to enable “Sailing for All”.
We offer sailing and other water sports to people of all ages, abilities, and means in the greater Boston area. We promote an accessible and welcoming environment that encourages learning, volunteerism, and community spirit.

People living with MS, their family and friends are invited to join us for a great day of sailing fun! All levels of sailing experience, from first timers to experts, are welcome.

Sailors with previous experience can enjoy the Venture Connect or Mercury - a great boat for you to enjoy an afternoon on the Charles River, with all the controls funneled right into your pilot seat.

For those beginners without experience, the 23’ Sonar is a great option to go out with a group & learn the sailing basics while enjoying time on the water.
* A Hoyer lift is available to assist sailors with boarding all the boats and we have adaptive equipment to fit each sailors needs.

Cost: There is not cost for this event; should you decide to join Community Boating’s Universal Access Program, the annual cost is very reasonable.

FYI: There is NO sponsor, so please bring everything you personally need for a day outside on the Charles - snacks, drinking water, SPF & sun protection cloths (sunglasses, hat, visor etc.)
