THANK YOU!
Thank you for having the courage and faith to help those with a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis try to find a way to a better life. MS is tough enough. Being partially paralyzed, in addition, is an ever-present reminder that they will never be whole again.
What you have just done is instill hope. Without breakthrough research and investigation, nothing will change. What we do know is that when a person dives at a depth of 50 feet or more, for a period of an hour or more, there is a dramatic increase in serotonin levels in the cerebral spinal fluid, especially in the spinal cord, that improves movement ability, reduces pain, and alleviates depression and symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). In previous research, these improvements can last as long as four months.
What you have just done, is support finding the answer to the huge question, WHY? Like most medical discoveries, these benefits were found by chance. Turning that 'chance' into science, is what you are now a part of.
So again, thank you for being a part of the solution.
Sincerely,
The MS Cure Fund Team & Dr. Daniel Becker
